Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle could “flee” from the UK and defend the interests, including because of the racist jokes of the royal family, in particular the wife of Prince Charles Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, writes Page Six, citing British biographer Tom Bower and his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.
The book is based on “insider interviews that have never spoken before” and will have many interesting details about the life of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Tom Bower claims that his sources are at least 80 people who know the Duke and Duchess of Sussex well. Bower admits that all these people do not like Meghan. However, he emphasizes, Markle herself is to blame for the fact that information was provided to him by those who are not her big fans. “She categorically forbade her friends to communicate with me,” Tom adds.
One of the hotly debated topics right now is the alleged statement of the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla about the couple’s son Archie. When Meghan was pregnant, Camilla, according to the author’s sources, joked that it would be funny if the baby had “afro red hair.”
During a sensational interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex said that her husband’s relatives discussed several times what color the skin of Harry and Meghan’s unborn child would be. At the same time, Markle did not name which particular member of the royal family allowed himself such rudeness.
Prince Harry then clarified that there was only one such conversation. He added that he was shocked.
After that, there were reports that the racist question was definitely not asked by Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip.
Bower claims that relations between Camilla and Prince Harry have soured since then. He began to treat his stepmother very coldly. Megan is not worth talking about.
Also, the author of “Revenge” believes that it was then that Markle first seriously thought about the fact that after marriage it would be better for her to go back to the States. All that was left was to convince Harry…
Bower is sure that the Duke of Sussex will certainly openly accuse Camilla of racism in his memoirs, which are expected to be released in the US towards the end of autumn.
However, royal sources convincingly refuted claims that Camilla was joking in this way. Clarence House declined to comment on the situation.
