Photos of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova during a night out in Madrid without Crown Princess Maria have surfaced online.

The heir to the Danish throne and the reality TV star spent a night in the Spanish capital last month, during which they strolled through a park, visited an art exhibition, and dined while watching flamenco.

The images, first published by the Spanish magazine Lecturas last week, show the royal and the billionaire’s former sister-in-law, the Duchess of Alba, spending several hours together walking around the city before heading to her apartment,

Spanish media reported last week that the royal couple’s father and the former acting socialite visited a Pablo Picasso exhibition, strolled through El Retiro Park, and then headed out for dinner.

Judging by the photos, Genoveva ditched the chic camel coat with a tie belt in favor of a white shirt, wide-legged pants, and a black jacket over her shoulders.

Meanwhile, Frederick changed from his dark blue jacket and brown pants into a white shirt and dark pants with a bright dark coat.

They reportedly exited the building separately but got into the same white car.

According to Lecter, the pair left the restaurant at 1 a.m. before walking outside and getting into the car. As a “sign of courtesy,” Crown Prince Frederick opened the car door for his dinner companion.

And the next day, Frederick was taken by car to the airport, from where he flew home to Denmark, the magazine claims.

After the photos surfaced, Genoveva denied any romantic relationship between her and the Danish king.

In an official statement, the socialite said, “I categorically deny the statements that suggest a romantic relationship between me and Prince Frederik.”

Since the photos surfaced, knowledgeable individuals have claimed that the couple is good friends who “meet a few times a year.”

They share a friendly relationship. They know each other and have mutual friends. They usually meet several times a year,” said Susana Griso, host of the Spanish TV show Espejo Público.

The publication of the photos in Lecturas magazine generated a tremendous amount of press interest in Spain.

Casanova is a Mexican socialite living in Spain who has also dabbled in acting over the years: in 2006, she landed a role in the movie “The Ghosts of Goya.”

She has also participated in several Spanish reality shows, including the national version of the exhibition “Singer in Disguise,” the latest episode of the Spanish show “Masterchef for Celebrities,” and the star-studded version of the show “The Chase.”

She married Spanish writer Cayetano Martinez de Irujo from 2005 to 2007, and the couple have two children.

They divorced in 2008 but maintained a friendly relationship and, according to her, still talk every day.

Henoveva was subsequently linked to Mexican singer Luis Miguel after their divorce, but the couple never confirmed if they were in a relationship.

She subsequently dated Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a senior policy adviser at the UNHCR, and after his wife’s death, got together with former Spanish Justice Minister Jose Maria Mihavila.

Her last romance was in 2022 with José Manuel Gayán Pacheco, an agricultural businessman.
