On Friday, Rick Harrison remembered his son in a short Instagram post, sharing a photo of them at a restaurant. 

According to CBS affiliate KLAS, Adam Harrison, the son of Rick Harrison, creator and star of Pawn Stars, has passed away. 

Rick wrote, ‘You will always be in my heart!’ Harrison wrote, ‘I love you, Adam,’ accompanied by a broken heart emoji. 

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted his condolences, saying, ‘I’m so sorry man.’

Rick Harrison, who appeared at a get-out-the-vote rally for Trump in Las Vegas in 2016, also paid tribute. 

Corey Harrison, Adam’s older brother, shared a photo of the two in a bathtub and  wrote, ‘I’ll always love you, Bubba.’ 

The Harrison family expressed their deep sadness over Adam’s passing in a statement received by KLAS. Laura Herlovich, a Harrison publicist, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he died of an overdose. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time.

Rick Harrison has been a cast member of the reality TV show ‘Pawn Stars since 2009. In 1988, he and his father, Richard, opened a world-renowned pawnshop in Las Vegas. The show focused on the shop and the buying and selling that took place there. Corey Harrison and his childhood friend Austin Lee Russell, better known as Chumlee, also starred in the show. 

Adam Harrison did not appear on the show. 

Corey and Adam Harrison were the children of Harrison and his first wife, Kim Harrison. The couple got married in 1982 and divorced in 1985. He married Tracy Harrison in 1986, and they divorced in 2011. He and Tracy have a son named Jake. Currently, Harrison is married to Amanda Palmer.
