The two Brits will face off at the DAZN PPV event in October in a fight that may be the biggest in YouTube boxing history.
Both fighters are undefeated, with Fury (9-0) coming off a split decision victory over Jake Paul, while KSI (3-0-1) last fought Joe Fournier in May. The boxer’s win was initially scored as a first-round knockout, but the decision was changed to a no-contest after the 30-year-old was found guilty of an elbow strike.
The Sidemen co-founder admitted the fight with Fury, 24, is “the toughest fight in boxing for influencers” but promised to shut the mouths of any doubters.
Fury, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, was very brief in his words, promising to knock out his opponent within four rounds.
The highly anticipated bout between Tommy Fury and KSI has been confirmed for October 14 on DAZN PPV.
Moms Taylor, co-president of Misfits Boxing, an organization KSI co-founded, called the two fighters “jugglers of the crossover boxing scene” and said the exciting action is “going to get even bigger.”
“KSI has made no secret of his desire to get in the ring with Tommy Fury, inflict his first defeat on him, and do what Jake Paul couldn’t do, and very soon, he will get his chance to make a giant statement,” Taylor said.
The renowned boxer knocked out all his opponents during his boxing career.
KSI’s business partner and former rival Logan Paul will fight in the second half of the double main event on October 14, and his opponent will be revealed in the next few days.
