When Prince William proposed to Catherine, the British public breathed a sigh of relief. 

The wedding was the event of the decade. Shortly after, William and Catherine announced they were expecting their first child. Prince George was born, followed by his sister, Princess Charlotte. Louis due to a horrific illness called hyperemesis gravidarum, which prevented her from keeping any food down. 

Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018, completing the family of five.

Prince William and Princess Catherine have made it clear that they want to give their children as usual an upbringing as possible despite existing within the public eye. Catherine is dedicated to getting her three children outside and in the fresh air whenever possible.

Princess Catherine provided an update on Prince Louis during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Life as we knew it came to a halt due to the pandemic. Despite being royalty, Prince William and Princess Catherine were not immune to the changes and kept their children close to home. During a video appearance, Catherine gave a minor update about Prince Louis during lockdown. She mentioned that he was also running around swiftly on his little scooter and that she couldn’t keep up with him.

In a video posted by NBC News, Catherine was seen chatting with the crowd. She shared that her little Louis is just so sweet. He said, ‘Mummy, don’t worry because she’s now with great-grandpa.’ Catherine choked up as she shared her sweet boy’s comforting words.

Fans have noticed how much Prince Louis looks like Princess Catherine as he grows up.

Princess Catherine is said to be feeling saddened by how quickly Prince Louis is growing up.

She has watched as her three children have grown up. Prince George was born only yesterday, but he is already a pre-teen with a heightened role of importance within the royal family. Prince Louis is the youngest of the group, but he is growing up quickly. 

During a visit to a therapy garden in Wales, Catherine updated her youngest son, sharing that he still enjoys going outside and smelling the flowers.

The Princess Catherine’s Christmas Carol Concert tradition started in December 2021 to celebrate those who supported their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Prince William and Prince Louis entered Westminster Abbey hand in hand, making it a remarkable debut. Louis enjoyed the music with a candle in his hand. He and his siblings also participated in a tradition of writing and mailing notes to children going through difficult times.

In May 2023, a video was released revealing the adorable nickname

that Princess Catherine has for her youngest, Prince Louis. 

In a viral video, Princess Catherine showed Prince Louis how to toast a marshmallow on a stick. She affectionately called him ‘Lou Bug’ while encouraging him to put the marshmallow in the fire. Later, Prince Louis pushed a wheelbarrow with dirt using a shovel. Catherine cheered for her youngest child as he completed a task. She said, ‘Great job, Lou Bug.’ Prince Louis had a fun day that included archery and contributing his handprint in paint to a mural. We were all happy to learn about the adorable nickname.
