During an Equal Pay Day speech for Women’s History Month in March 2022, President Joe Biden mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as his wife, Jill Biden, confusing.    During the event, Joe Biden opened his speech by introducing himself as Jill Biden’s husband. Later on, he mentioned that there had been a change in the stage arrangement due to his recent COVID-19 contraction.

He was interrupted by someone who pointed out his mistake. Jill is fine. However, I am not together. Although the audience laughed it off, it was still an awkward moment.

During a recent speech, Joe made a slip-up, referring to Kamala Harris as the President multiple times.

In a January 2022 gaffe, President Joe Biden misspoke while discussing Vice President Kamala Harris, accidentally giving her his job title. He said, “Last week, Vice President Harris and I stood in the United States Capitol to observe one of those before and after moments in American history.”

Critics did not hold back in the comments of the clip uploaded to Forbes’ YouTube channel, pointing out Biden’s mistake. One person called him a ‘senile old fool,’ while another suggested he may be a legitimate seer predicting the future.

Biden has made the same ‘President Harris’ mistake more than once, as seen in a video shared by Fox News where he commemorates the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey team’s 2023 Stanley Cup win. According to the outlet, President Harris is here to ensure we do this correctly. Biden has referred to Harris as the President at least six times.

Some have expressed concerns about Biden’s ability to continue leading due to his age, but he has stated that he has no memory problems.

An incident involving the mishandling of classified files led to an investigation of President Joe Biden. Robert Hur’s report determined that Joe would not be charged, but it also called into question the President’s memory. According to Hur’s report, Joe’s memory was significantly limited based on various interviews. Additionally, Joe could not remember the dates of his vice presidency or his son Beau Biden’s death.

During a speech at the White House, Joe responded to these claims by stating that his memory was not an issue. According to a speech expert interviewed by The List, Joe clarified that Hur had crossed the line with questions about his memory. The President explained that he had completed a five-hour, in-person interview over two days, even though Hamas had just attacked Israel on the 7th, and he was preoccupied with handling an international crisis. Joe expressed anger at the insinuation that he didn’t remember when Beau died. When a reporter quoted Hur’s report, Joe replied, ‘I am well-meaning, and I know what the hell I’m doing.’

Later, while answering questions, Joe mistakenly referred to the President of Egypt as the President of Mexico. Kamala Harris criticized Hur’s report as false. During her speech, she stated that the characterization of the President’s demeanor in the report was factually incorrect and politically motivated. She described it as gratuitous.
