Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has found himself embroiled in a new controversy after his name appeared on a debtors’ list from the estate where his mansion is located in Lagos.

The revelation has sparked reactions online, particularly given Bobrisky’s recent boasts about his lavish lifestyle and assets in an interview with Egungun of Lagos.

The debtors’ list, which was from August, featured the names of residents who had outstanding payments. The details of the debt were undisclosed. However, Bobrisky’s real name, Idris Okuneye, was clearly visible on the list, raising questions about his financial status.

Recall that on April 4, 2024, Mummy of Lagos was arrested by the EFCC for alleged Naira mutilation. He was charged in court and found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to six months imprisonment. Bob was released in August 2024.

As a welcome back, Mummy of Lagos threw an exclusive party with “few friends” in attendance and a talk-of-the-town cake. From the party, guests donated about 100 million to Bobrisky as a welcome back gift.

Like always, Netizens are ready to drag Bob to the moon and back because of his usual display of wealth. Some believe his assets are show-offs, while others believe the acclaimed Mummy of Lagos’ account is in the red. See what Netizens said:

@adunniade_bola: “He just got back na, he will pay.”
