The biggest names in TV must mention how other stars feel about the famous designer and host. Here’s what other HGTV stars have said about David Bromstad.

David Bromstad has many HGTV friends, but when we asked who he would most want to share a hotel room with, he listed only two: Genevieve Gorder and Josh Temple. Bromstad has also called Temple his “Tornado Temple” and “great buddy” on Facebook.

Bromstad and Temple became friends in 2015 when they appeared on “Beach Flip” with Nicole Curtis. They did a lot of joint press but mainly focused on the show. Temple has been less open than Bromstad, but he still gave him many social media shout-outs while working together.

In February 2015, Temple posted a video to his grid that praised Bromstad’s fashion and made fun of his own. “I have so much to learn,” he joked.

Egypt Sherrod has starred in many HGTV shows. She and her husband, Mike Jackson, also won Season 3 of Rock the Block. This show pits HGTV stars against each other. Each team designs an identically laid-out house. Bromstad appeared in Season 2 with less success than Sherrod and Jackson. The “Married to Real Estate” couple appeared on Bromstad’s season for blind judging of contestants’ main bedrooms and bathrooms.

Tiffany Brooks enjoyed working with David Bromstad.

In season 2 of “Rock the Block,” teams of two HGTV stars compete against each other. Two teams were made up of HGTV favorites. David Bromstad and Tiffany Brooks were partners because they both won “HGTV Design Star.” Brooks’ post-win career has been less successful than Bromstad’s. However, her talent and personality have kept her on HGTV’s radar.

Alison Victoria and David Bromstad are close. Victoria appeared solo in Season 1, but she’s with HGTV legend Mike Holmes this time. Bromstad is in most of her behind-the-scenes photos. In one Instagram post, she called her fellow HGTV host “my heart.” The post showed them hugging. This isn’t a new friendship. There are photos of the duo at the 2015 CMA Music Festival.

Victoria and Bromstad are often seen together because they are two of HGTV’s most famous presenters.

Victoria and Bromstad often work solo, but it would be great to see them co-host a show.

David Bromstad inspired Keith Bynum.

Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas became HGTV stars with their series Bargain Block. The show, which started in 2021, features the couple buying old Detroit homes and making them into starter houses. Bynum and Thomas have already gained many fans. The couple, who have been together for over 10 years, is a great fit for HGTV. Some of the best bits are the personal moments.

Bynum and Thomas have appeared on other shows, including “Rock the Block” and a New Orleans spin-off.

David Bromstad has lost touch with Alice Fakier.

David Bromstad’s winning season of “HGTV’s Design Star” aired in 2006. The show ran for many seasons, but nothing could compare to the first one. Bromstad is the Kelly Clarkson of “HGTV Design Star.” He was the first winner and is still the best. Of the eight winners of HGTV Design Star, only Bromstad remains a network staple. The designer and host once joked to AOL, “I’m the granddaddy of HGTV!”

Danielle Hirsch enjoyed working with David Bromstad.

Some people know David Bromstad from “My Lottery Dream Home,” but older fans know him from many other shows. Bromstad’s first big hit was “Color Splash,” which he created the year after winning Season 1 of “HGTV Design Star.”

Bromstad was the host and designer on “Color Splash,” while Hirsch was his painter and carpenter. She had previously appeared as a painter on “Design Remix” and made a logical choice for the new show.
