In front of the class, he stood on a small stage, nervously playing with the crown. Everyone watched him closely. Everyone was excited to see what he would do next.

He glanced at his friends to see what they thought. As he stepped off the stage, he inhaled deeply and approached the girl.

Justin felt calm, cool, and collected when he was announced homecoming king. Unsurprisingly, he won the title since he was the most popular boy in school.

There was no way he could resist smirking. Everything had gone to plan.

When he saw Mikaela, he smiled broadly. But as he looked at her, his smile faded.

She cried as she held onto her date’s arm. She knew what would happen, but she wasn’t ready for it. She was sad for a moment and fell to the ground.

She covered her face with her hands and watched from a distance as they announced the homecoming queen’s name.

While thinking about the situation, he raised his hands and adjusted the crown on his head. He knew he could only do one thing to make things right.

He grabbed the crown and held it tightly. Could he give up his crown for just one girl? He was sure that her reputation was much worse than his.

He gripped the crown with sweaty fingers and lifted it off his head.

When he jumped off the stage and called her name, Mikaela turned on her heels, ready to leave. After stopping and turning to face him, she was shocked. Then something happened.

Justin Murphy was the most popular boy in his school. Everyone loved him, especially as the captain of the football team.

He had never seen a more beautiful girl than Mikaela Jones. With her long, dark hair and freckled face, he was amazed that a woman so beautiful existed.

But Mikaela didn’t feel the same. A new girl at school was getting all the attention, and Megan, the school’s top cheerleader, didn’t like it. And that’s when all the drama started.

When Justin first noticed her sitting alone in the cafeteria, he felt he had to go and talk to her.

That day, he spent the entire lunch period talking to Mikaela. He found out she had moved there from New York and liked to paint and write her songs on the piano.

Over the next few weeks, Justin got to know her quite well. He would often leave his friends to spend lunchtime with her.

He asked her to go with him to the dance, but she refused.

Mikaela liked being friends with Justin, and because she wanted to see him happy, she finally agreed to go with him.

He saw how she was lost in her and Ben’s past, which made him feel terrible. It was clear that Mikaela and Ben had a history. But they didn’t know that Justin was making a plan to win.

Justin cared about Mikaela and didn’t want to stop her from being happy. She deserved to go to the homecoming dance with the boy she liked.

Before they knew it, the day had come. Justin looked excellent in his navy blue suit, standing with his friends from the American football team.

From where he was standing, he could see Mikaela. She looked gorgeous, which made him even more sad. She was with Ben, and they seemed happy together. Soon, the moment they had all been waiting for finally arrived. As soon as they announced Justin as homecoming king, he smiled widely and approached the small stage.

But he knew Mikaela would win prom queen if he won prom king.

Tears streamed down her face as she clung to her date’s arm. Suddenly, she felt very nervous. She glanced up at Justin, her eyes filling with sadness before dropping to the floor.

“Please clap for your homecoming queen,” the announcer said excitedly before calling her name. She covered his face with her hands as he watched from a distance. He knew he’d made a colossal mistake, but what would his friends think?

He raised his hands, adjusting the crown on his head as he thought about the situation. There was only one thing he could do to make things right.

As she was about to walk away, he jumped off the stage and approached Mikaela and Ben. Everyone in the room went quiet. No one knew what was happening. What had happened to him? He took the crown off his head and went over to Ben.”You should have this. I think the two of you would make a much better king and queen,” he said, smiling sadly, before turning to Mikaela. “Now go and get your crown, we can’t wait to see the king and queen on stage!”A smile spread across her face. She was amazed at how sweet he was. After homecoming, Mikaela and Justin remained friends while she began dating Ben. Everyone at school learned to love her just as much as Justin did. Eventually, he moved on, but he was still grateful to have such a fantastic friend in his life.
