The Duke of Sussex hinted that he and his wife, Meghan Markle, might return to his home country when he spoke with Joss Stone at the WellChild Awards in London last week.
On Monday, the 38-year-old singer spoke to Hello! magazine about moving back to the UK with the 41-year-old royal.
“He was saying how great the schools here are, and how important it is for children to feel part of the community”, the Grammy winner remembered. “It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back.”
Stone, who has four children with her husband Cody DaLuz, wanted to raise her children in a safe environment where they would feel close to their family and friends and like they belonged.
She told the outlet that Harry seemed really interested in Stone’s move.
“He asked how we were getting back into things,” the songwriter said. “He’s just very friendly and easy to talk to, like he always is. Maybe Harry will move back, too. That would be nice.”
Harry left England in 2020 with Markle, 44, and their son, Prince Archie, who is now six years old.
After spending some time in Los Angeles and Canada, the couple moved into a big house in Montecito, California. They still live there with their son and daughter, who is 4 years old and is called Princess Lilibet.
The Grammy winner also said, “He was saying how great the schools are here and how important it is for children to be part of the community.”
King Charles III has only met Lilibet once, when the family of four travelled across the pond for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
In May, Harry said he wanted to make peace with his dad, with whom he had not spoken for years.
“There’s no point in fighting any more,” the prince told BBC News at the time, pointing out that Charles “won’t speak” to him. “It would be nice to make up.”
Four months later, Harry and the King, who is 76, met up again earlier this month. The King visited the author of “Spare” at Clarence House, and they spoke for nearly an hour.
We hear that when the two had a “private tea” on 10 September, Harry showed his family photos and videos on his phone.
