Amazingly, all crew members and passengers on board the airliner survived after the plane skidded off the runway and crashed in Mogadishu on Tuesday, July 11. According to the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), thirty passengers and four crew members boarded the Halla Airlines plane traveling from Garowe to Mogadishu. Video footage from the airport shows the passenger plane veering off the runway just minutes after landing in Mogadishu. Video footage captured by Alex Gerevini shows the airliner crashing at Aden Adde International Airport in the Somali capital.
