Matt Damon is a proud father of four daughters – Alexia Barroso from Luciana’s prior relationship and his daughters Isabella, Gia, and Stella Damon, all of whom he adores.

Matt’s introduction to Luciana Barroso suggests a captivating romantic comedy. One night, while shooting 2003’s “Stuck On You” in Miami, Florida, Matt and his crew went to a bar in South Beach where he met his future wife Luciana. Barroso worked as a bartender. When fans swarmed Damon for photos and autographs, he hid behind her bar. With the situation, Barroso put Damon to work, saying, “You can’t just be standing there!”  They mixed drinks and had an enjoyable night. Now, 15 years later, they are still together.

However, before their relationship went further, Damon had to ace one crucial test. Barroso was a single mother to her then-four-year-old daughter, Alexia Barroso. When Damon invited her to continue partying, she declined. Since then, he has become a stepfather to Alexia, teaching her to drive and even giving her a small role in the 2009 movie “We Bought a Zoo.”

In 2005, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso got married and welcomed their first daughter together, Isabella Damon, in June 2006. Soon after, the actor began filming “The Bourne Ultimatum” in Europe, but his baby was always nearby. While filming, Matt Damon’s family would relax at the hotel, which he found to be the only opportunity to recharge himself.

Although Matt Damon is famous for starring in blockbuster movies and is an Oscar winner, his daughter Isabella Damon must be addressed.

In August of 2008, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso had a daughter named Gia Damon, causing the actor to take a break from his career.

In 2010, Gia went with her father to Cape Town, South Africa, where they visited the set of “Invictus” and met Nelson Mandela.

During the same year, Luciana Barroso gave birth to Stella Damon, making the family complete. This happened in October while the actor was busy promoting his latest films, “Hereafter” and “True Grit.”

In early 2020, Matt Damon was filming “The Last Duel” in France when the COVID-19 pandemic began. His wife, Luciana Barroso, and three youngest daughters were with him, while his eldest daughter, Alexia Barroso, was at university in New York.

Unfortunately, Alexia and her roommates contracted COVID-19 in March 2020, leaving only his stepdaughter missing. Thankfully, she had no issues but couldn’t see her family until May 2020, when the Damons returned to the United States.
