Despite having politician parents and working in private equity, they have opposite personalities.

As the only child of a political dynasty, Chelsea Clinton’s wedding to Marc Mezvinsky was anything but simple.

The 2010 event, held at New York’s Astor Courts estate, reportedly cost up to $5 million. The breakdown includes an $11,000 cake, $250,000 for Clinton’s jewelry, $600,000 for glass-walled and air-conditioned tents, $500,000 for flowers, and $200,000 for extra security.

The wedding had many famous guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Barbra Streisand.

Chelsea Clinton and her husband live a luxurious lifestyle.

Although Marc Mezvinsky is still working at TPG, Chelsea Clinton will pay the bills if he decides to switch careers again. The New York Post reported in 2020 that Clinton earned $9 million in salary and stock options from 2011 to the present by serving on the board of InterActiveCorp (IAC), an internet investment firm owned by Clinton megadonor Barry Diller.

Clinton also earned approximately $250,000 in 2017 after joining the board of Expedia Group.

In 2013, Clinton and Mezvinsky moved into a $10 million New York City apartment, described as a ‘luxury fortress’ by the New York Daily News. The apartment is one of the largest in New York City, measuring 5,000 square feet.

Chelsea Clinton broke her toe while bathing her children.

In May 2023, she was seen wearing protective boots in New York. Her representative explained that she broke her toe while racing to bathe her kids.

Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton were once friends. However, everything changed when Donald Trump became president in 2016.

Throughout his presidency, Ivanka publicly supported her father, even after his first indictment in 2023, which suggests that she endorsed at least some of his views or policies. In a 2022 interview on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ (via People), Clinton confirmed that she no longer has any contact with Ivanka, stating, ‘She went to the dark side.’

Ivanka’s apparent support of Donald’s rhetoric appears to have destroyed her friendship with Clinton. As a result, it is unlikely that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, will be invited to the Clinton-Mezvinsky household for dinner anytime soon. This is for the best.
