While accepting the award for Best Actress at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, Emma Stone experienced a wardrobe malfunction.

She informed the audience, saying, ‘My dress is broken; I think it happened during ‘I’m just Ken.”

During her emotional acceptance speech, Stone mentioned that she had been panicking about the possibility of a wardrobe malfunction, which eventually happened.

She wore a mint green peplum-adorned gown on the red carpet, which was an homage to the sorbet theme of her costumes in ‘Poor Things’ and her looks at this year’s Golden Globes and SAG Awards.

Fortunately, the star’s expensive jewelry, a 30-carat yellow diamond choker, remained in place during her wardrobe malfunction.

After giving her speech, the star reminded the audience not to look at the back of her dress as she left the stage.

At this year’s award show, John Cena jokingly stepped out on stage without any clothes earlier in the night while presenting the award for best costume design to the 2023 film ‘Poor Things.’ Stone was one of many risking wardrobe malfunctions.

The film won gold statuettes in four of the eleven categories it was nominated for, including best hair, makeup, and production design.
