The AFP (Agence France-Presse) has declared that Kensington Palace is no longer considered a trusted source. CNN is currently reviewing all the images previously supplied by the palace. Instagram has added a warning to the Instagram shot that was heard worldwide.

The photo of the princess and Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis was taken last Friday afternoon after the Wales kids got home from school.

The family had a 40-minute window to obtain the image. Prince William, named Flat Cap Wearer magazine’s annual man of the year, took the photo.

Later that night, at 9:54 pm UK time, someone, presumably Kate, edited the photo. The next morning, at 9:39 am, it was tweaked again.

However, the final result was a poorly edited photo that needed to meet professional standards.

The Waleses released the photo via their social media accounts and to major photo agencies to mark Mother’s Day.

However, about 12 hours later, the five major photo agencies (Press Association, Getty Images, Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, Shutterstock, and Reuters) issued kill notices, labeling the shot ‘manipulated.’

As a result, Kate had to issue an unprecedented apology, admitting that she occasionally experiments with editing.

The drama surrounding Kate’s whereabouts has caused hysteria on social media.

The prince took the photo that started the ordeal, but it is likely that Kate, a lifelong photographer and patron of the Royal Photographic Society, composed and organized the image.

The princess apologized this week. The missive was marked as a personal one from Kate, with a ‘C’ at the end.

The man who had promised to love, honor, and occasionally let her be the big spoon all those years ago in front of a slightly bored-looking Archbishop of Canterbury was nowhere to be found.

Although Kate was the one up at nearly 10 pm on a Friday tinkering on a Mac, inadvertently proving she is not perfect in every conceivable way, the image was released by their shared social media accounts.

It is frustrating that when the Waleses’ joint project – the photo – landed them in hot water, suddenly the prince was nowhere to be seen, and Kate was left to take the blame alone.

Throughout the Great Wales Hullabaloo, Charles, like his son, was nowhere to be seen.

Realistically, Buckingham Palace is unlikely to issue statements about the ordeal caused by his usually irreproachable son and daughter-in-law’s good intentions and some shoddy computer work.

Royal insiders and sources appear in select newspapers to provide insights into the King’s feelings or convey a general sense of the prevailing winds inside the palace.

It would not be surprising to see a line in some reporting this week stating that the King fully supports the Princess of Wales’ need to continue recuperating and knows that this will all blow over.

Charles has not sent any supportive smoke signals. Instead, he has focused on signing documents and tending to his flowers.

The monarchy has survived for centuries because women like Kate sacrificed their lives, identities, and even wombs for the crown’s good. This tradition dates back to the Dark Ages when doors were considered new technology.

Charles still has a throne because of women like the Princess of Wales. They have given themselves over for the greater good of the monarchy.

Kate is currently facing a difficult situation without the support of the men in her life, who have the privilege of male primogeniture and Teutonic DNA. She must receive the full support of the crown during this time.

Additionally, it is worth noting that Kate is recovering from major surgery that required months of sick leave.
