An American teacher who gained fame on a reality TV series with her conjoined twin quietly married three years ago. According to public records obtained by TODAY, Abby Hensel, now 34, from Minnesota, married Josh Bowling, 33, a nurse and army veteran, in 2021. Abby and her sister Brittany are dicephalic twins who rose to fame on their TLC show. The show chronicled their major life events, including high school graduation and job hunting. In a 2001 interview with Time, the twins' father, Mike, said his daughters had already asked about finding husbands one day. He explained that other conjoined twins have married, so why not?' They're good-looking girls. They're witty.' He added that they have everything going for them except being together. Recently, a clip of Abby's wedding day was posted on the TikTok account @abbyandbrittanyhensel. A Facebook account titled Britt and Abby also featured a picture of the happy couple. Records revealed that the ceremony took place in 2021. The twins wore a sleeveless wedding dress with lace trim detailing, while the groom wore a grey suit. During the big day, a video was captured by one of the guests and shared on social media. It showed the twins and the groom enjoying a dance. Another video showed Josh's daughter walking down the aisle in a floral bridesmaid's dress, holding a sign that read 'Daddy... Here Comes Your Bride'. The twins, raised Christian by their parents, a nurse and a carpenter, have their birth certificates and passports. Abby and Brittany are fifth-grade math teachers at a New Brighton, Minnesota, elementary school. They were born and raised in the same town. Doctors warned their parents, Patty and Mike, that they were unlikely to survive the night when they were born on March 7, 1990. However, they proved the doctors wrong. They enjoyed playing sports like bowling, volleyball, cycling, softball, and swimming. On their 16th birthday, they passed their driving test. It was a remarkable achievement that required teamwork, as each twin used one arm to control the steering wheel. Abby and Brittany, conjoined twins, defied the odds and survived into adulthood. They are in good health, without any heart defects or organ failure. Patty, their mother, previously mentioned that they have discussed with the twins that some people may refer to them as 'the little girl with two heads,' as she overheard a child at a swimming pool asking his mother if she had seen them. Previous reports indicate that the twins have only discussed separation once during childhood. This occurred when Abigail became restless after Brittany fell ill with pneumonia and was confined to bed. Abigail suggested being separated from her sister, but when Brittany began to cry, Abigail reassured her that everything was fine and that they would never be parted.
