She’s known for her love of fitness, and former First Lady Michelle Obama showed off her super-lean frame in a two-piece in Miami.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama has been spotted on holiday in Miami, looking as fit as ever in a bikini. Michelle and her eldest daughter Malia, 19, were seen walking with friends on the beach. They were accompanied by Valerie Jarrett, an adviser to the Obama administration, and Secret Service agents.
Michelle, 53, showed off her abs in a white bikini top paired with a sheer white shirt, high-waisted shorts with ripped details, a pair of gold hoop earrings, and black sunglasses.
InStyle called Michelle, who has talked about staying in shape through regular exercise, “ageless” in the Daisy Duke-inspired look.
“When I was at the White House, I often hosted bootcamp weekends for my close girlfriends,” Michelle previously wrote on Instagram.
“It didn’t matter that we were all at different fitness levels. Our boot camp weekends were a reminder that if we want to keep taking care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first.
“And even though I’m no longer at the White House, I’ve kept up this tradition.”
Harvard student Malia wore black bikini bottoms, a tan hoodie over the top, and round sunglasses as she held a thick textbook and her mobile phone.
There was no sign of Michelle’s husband, former President Obama, or their younger daughter, Sasha, who is 16.
Last month, the former First Family celebrated Christmas in Hawaii.
Michelle is known for using her influence as First Lady to promote young American designers. She followed in the footsteps of former First Ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton by sticking closely to American fashion brands.
Her go-to couture labels included Givenchy, Versace, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Tanya Taylor, and Thom Browne.
Riccardo Tisci, the designer behind Givenchy, told Vogue that dressing Michelle was like a dream. He said her elegance and kind soul made her otherworldly.
Michelle’s signature look showed off her famously toned arms. Now, it seems she’s moving on to beach chic.
