The outgoing president is hosting allies of the Quad alliance at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, for a two-day summit as foreign leaders travel to the US for the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

The Quad is a group that counters China’s influence. It includes the US, Japan, India, and Australia.

India has the largest population in the world, with about 1.4 billion people. The US is the third-most populous country, with 333 million people.

Biden had announced a global expansion of his Cancer Moonshot initiative earlier and recalled the death of his late son, Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015.

The new plan is a partnership between the four countries to reduce cancer deaths.

Biden has made similar mistakes throughout his presidency.

Later this week, he will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Since Russia invaded in February 2022, Zelensky has made five trips to the US.

Zelensky will discuss a “Plan for Victory” with Biden, visit with Vice President Harris, and meet with former President Trump. He will also give a speech at the UN General Assembly in Manhattan.

On Tuesday, Biden will speak at the UN and meet with other world leaders.

Biden is expected to attend his last Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation gathering in Peru and his previous G20 summit in Brazil.
