A 61-year-old man, Dave Pascoe, has revealed his secrets to fighting aging by revealing his elaborate exercise and diet plans, which include taking 158 supplements a day. One 61-year-old man, who claims his biological age is 38, revealed how he "hacked" the aging process. The retired network security engineer, Dave Pascoe of Michigan, shared his elaborate exercise and diet plans on his website, stating that he takes 158 daily supplements. Pascoe has dedicated his life to turning back the genetic clock by becoming a "full-cycle biohacker." " I don't want my health reserves to expire before my life span," Pascoe writes. " My goal is to make them as equal as possible. I expect to live to at least 95 years of age in terrific shape .... or even 110, God willing." The Benjamin Button wannabe no longer sets his alarm clock and sleeps until he wakes up naturally, usually at dawn. Pascoe then begins his morning routine with 15 minutes of stretching on the floor and five minutes on a mini trampoline. According to his website, Pascoe is "single." The biohacker brushes his teeth, scrapes his tongue, and waits an hour before taking a perfectly reasonable portion of 82 supplements, including calcium-D-glucarate and a vitamin D3 tablet. Once these are digested, Pascoe heads outside for some sunshine and a short jog, followed by a workout that focuses on weights and resistance training. Afterward, he relaxes in the sauna and then does 45 minutes of meditation. All this before breakfast usually consists of one green banana and a bowl of berries with chia nuts. Pascoe rivals infamous biohacker Brian Johnson in his quest for immortality but is flexible with his daily routine: "If something happens that might prevent me from accomplishing one or more of them, I don't stress about it," he says. " While it's great to have good structure and discipline, some of the best things in life happen spontaneously! Time 'for myself' is significant to me, so I plan for it, but I won't miss the opportunity to spend time with others." As a single guy who lives alone, I will always trade a workout, sauna visit, or biohack for quality socializing." This sexagenarian belongs to a rare breed of biohacker - he's a meat eater, often choosing organic grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, or wild-caught fish. Pascoe doesn't count calories, however. "By limiting simple carbs for the most part, I eat as much as I want without gaining weight and obviously without increasing the rate of aging." Once his whirlwind day ends, Pascoe goes to bed early, but not before drinking dozens more supplements, slathering on skin serums, and making a "mental list of daily blessings." On his website, the biohacker says he has consulted more than 30 doctors in his quest for eternal youth.
