Despite being one of Storage Wars’s most outspoken and brave members regarding treasure hunting, Brandi’s personal life is far more private and, in many ways, tragic. The reality TV star has previously spoken about how “tumultuous” her adulthood (and childhood) has been, complete with work problems, a messy breakup, and an assault charge against ex-fiancé Jarrod.

Fame has been a surprising but not entirely unwelcome addition to Brandi and Jarrod’s lives.

Brandi, for one, made the giant leap from full-time mother and part-time worker to 60-hour-a-week slog. The reality star was asked to do everything from driving long distances to filming locations to waking up at 4 a.m. The show also forced Brandi to make sacrifices, including missing her children’s most important milestones, such as her daughter’s first day of kindergarten. Such complications likely influenced her decision to take a temporary absence from the show with partner Jarrod.

Her relationship with Jarrod became strained due to their constant togetherness.

While starring in Storage Wars, Brandi and Jarrod found their personal and professional lives colliding like never before, and it wasn’t long before the duo experienced the downside of spending every waking moment in each other’s presence.

With their starring roles in “Storage Wars,” Brandi and Jarrod had built their own brand, which led them to the next logical step in their illustrious careers: their own spin-off show, “Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job.” The show followed Brandi and Jarrod’s journey as thrift store owners, partners, and parents. While managing their store and two adolescent children, the couple eventually bickered to the altar (although they never officially tied the knot).

Unfortunately for the duo, the show failed to attract the same attention as its parent series and was canceled after eight episodes.

The thirteenth season of “Vault Wars” saw one of the most significant changes to the show: Having disbanded, Young Arms will no longer compete as a team. However, those who thought the change might mean a lessening of the former couple’s notorious bickering were wrong. Instead, viewers were treated to even more drama than before, albeit at the expense of Brandi’s peace of mind.

The couple’s estranged off-screen relationship resulted in several intense on-screen moments, including bidding wars and standoffs.

Currently, Brandi is “going with the flow.”

The breakup left Brandi with deep psychological wounds—scars that won’t heal quickly and leave her “withdrawn,” as her therapist described it.

The Storage Wars star last addressed dating rumors in February 2021 in the same interview, in which she denied having an “attachment” to anyone at the time. She admitted that she goes on dates but said that she is not looking for an active relationship.

After splitting from Jarrod, Brandi became a single mother to their two children, Payton and Cameron.
