Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are two of Hollywood’s most famous actors. They’ve been friends for many years. But their relationship might be more than just a bromance.

The two actors, who are from Texas, have been friends for years and have both become big stars.

In 2014, Harrelson and McConaughey starred together in the first season of True Detective. It was one of the best shows of the year.

But they might be related in real life. They’re brothers.

They met for the first time in 1999 on the set of the comedy film EDtv, but they had known each other for a long time.

They talked about it while on holiday in Greece with their families.

McConaughey’s mother was there too.

McConaughey said his mother said one word that made their connection seem deeper than anyone thought.

“In Greece a few years ago, we talked about how close we are and our families,” the 54-year-old said on the Kelly Ripa podcast.

“My mom said, ‘Woody, I knew your dad.’ My mom left out some words after “knew.”

“It was a loaded ‘knew’.”

He also said: “That’s part of our bromance, right? My kids call him Uncle Woody. His kids call me Uncle Matthew. My family thinks a lot of pictures of him are of me. “His family thinks many pictures of me are of him.”

The two actors talked about what “knew” meant and did some math.

They found out that Harrelson’s dad was on leave at the same time that McConaughey’s parents were getting a divorce (they got married three times).

Woody’s dad knew Matthew’s mum.

Harrelson said, “The year he was born, nine months before, she was on a break from her relationship with his dad, Jim.”

“There might have been a gathering or meeting in West Texas,” McConaughey added.

The two have talked about doing DNA tests to see if this is true. McConaughey and Harrelson share a dad. Maury Povich even helped.

But they haven’t done it because McConaughey doesn’t want to find out his dad isn’t his biological dad.

He did respond to Povich’s offer. “I don’t know if we’ll do it on your show, but I like your idea.”
