Fix a dent with a plunger and hot water. Have an unsightly dent in the side of your car? Don't worry! We all make mistakes, and it's easy to fix: boil water in a teapot or saucepan and pour it over the affected area, then use the plunger to remove the dent. Your visor can't protect you at this angle, but there is something that can! A simple tinted plastic sheet will stick to your car window with static, and you can move it wherever you need to, so the sun will never bother you again! Use Coke to Clean Your Wheels. You might have heard many times that "use Coke to clean this," but a mixture of cola and dish detergent does get all the road grime and brake dust off your rims and leaves them sparkling. You might be worried that the soda will make things sticky, but the detergent stops that. You can also use hand sanitizer to de-ice your keyholes. If you've felt the pain of having frozen locks on your car door, you know how complex that problem can be to solve. The answer is something you may not have expected – hand sanitizer. Pouring something INTO the lock that doesn't work may seem counterintuitive, but the alcohol in the solution will melt the ice, and then you can turn the lock. It works in the same way as hand sanitizer. And the over-the-door shoe rack can be used as a backseat organizer. This is especially useful if you have kids: It can store all the things you need in the back, like sippy cups, toys, chargers, snacks, and more. The pouches are easily accessible and much easier to see than the pouches that come with some minivan seats. Penny in the Tire. This next hack could save your life. Turn a penny upside down and put it into your tire treads. If it sinks halfway in, you're good to go. If the tread doesn't cover any of the president's head, you'll need new tires.
