Whoopi Goldberg – Pacific Palisades, $8.8 Million

Whoopi Goldberg once lived in the lovely Pacific Palisades residence pictured, but in 2018, she sold it for $5,000 more than the listing price. The residence was built in 1933, and another famous name was living there: actor David Niven (Casino Royale and Pink Panther).

The estate is around 28,000 square feet, with the main house making up 7,000 square feet. It has an in-ground pool, five ensuite bedrooms, and a separate guest house. Goldberg listed it for $5.795 million but sold it for $8.8 million.

Oprah Winfrey – Montecito, $165 Million.

Oprah Winfrey has multiple residences, but her primary home is in Montecito, near the Pacific beaches and the Ynez Mountains.

She spent $50 million on the 23,000-square-foot estate, which Forbes estimates is worth $165 million. The vast mansion has six bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, a wine cellar, and a home theatre, among other amenities.

Don Lemon – Sag Harbor, $3.1 Million

When he is not working for CNN, Don Lemon lives in a house in Sag Harbor. He fell in love with the property in 2016 and paid $3.1 million.

The four-bedroom mansion is 2,750 square feet and has five bedrooms in total. The house has four levels, with a guest suite on the lower level and a mahogany bar. The property also has a pergola and a pool.

Savannah Guthrie – New York, $5.9 Million.

The 48-year-old mother of two started working for the KMIZ channel and has since become one of the most popular hosts. Given the kitchen’s layout and the Italian bar with a wine fridge, Savannah was looking for an entertainment spot! The house has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a home study that the host can easily convert into a bedroom. The main bedroom has noise-proof windows for days when she works from home.

Steve Harvey – California, $110,000/month

Steve Harvey is a comedian, entertainer, and businessman. He is a well-known name, especially among comedy circles, and of course, for his role in hosting beauty pageants like Miss Universe. 

The media tycoon lives in Beverly Hills with his wife of more than ten years, Marjorie. Their mansion is less autocratic and more welcoming, reflecting his hospitable nature. It’s big enough to accommodate a huge family of eight and leave space for even more!

Larry King – Beverly Hills, $15.5 Million

Larry King and Shawn Southwick were married for nearly 22 years but divorced in early 2019. After the divorce, they put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market and asked for $17 million. It took a while to sell the house, but they sold it for $15.5 million. They paid $11.5 million for the house in 2007.

The property is approximately 10,810 square feet and includes a guesthouse by the pool and a main house. The seven-bedroom mansion has eight bedrooms in total, and the guesthouse has an extra bedroom and a bathroom.

Carson Daly – $6.2 Million.

Carson Daly has made a lot of money from his work as a presenter, producer, and radio DJ. He bought a massive house in Manhasset, Long Island, with six bedrooms, built in 2005. It is 6,034 square feet and has a curving staircase, ornate moldings, and several fireplaces.

The 1.3-acre estate also includes manicured lawns and a swimming pool. Daly decided to sell the mansion in 2012, initially listing it for $6.875 million and dropping the price to $6.499 million after a year on the market. He eventually closed on the sale in 2014 for $6.2 million.
