After becoming a child star, Hathaway worked in finance and tattoo artistry. He decided to return to the business in 2012 when he got a role in “Sushi Girl.” Hathaway did not appear in many films after this, but he did play the same character again. In 2016, Hathaway was in a Spotify advert, doing the same role he played in “The NeverEnding Story.”

Tami Stronach – The Childlike Empress.

When she got the role, the actor had no experience in films, and she explained to SlashFilm that it was just luck that she was offered the movie in the first place. Stronach has had a few other jobs since then, but her current job and passion are professional dancing.

More recently, she and her husband, Greg Steinbruner, have seen the popularity of “The NeverEnding Story” grow. This happened after Limahl’s song from the film was played in an episode of “Stranger Things.” The couple developed “Man and Witch: The Dance of a Thousand Steps, ” a throwback fantasy film that features many popular actors from the 1980s, including Sean Astin and Christopher Lloyd.

Deep Roy – Teeny Weeny.

Roy plays Keenser in the new “Star Trek” films (his last one was 2016’s “Star Trek Beyond”), but he is probably best known these days for playing all the Oompa-Loompas in Tim Burton’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

Tilo Prückner – Night Hob.

German actor Tilo Prückner would not be easily recognized by people who saw him in “The NeverEnding Story” because he had to wear a lot of makeup to look like his character, the Night Hob.
