My friend and I were enjoying a quiet dinner at a cozy, stylish restaurant in the city center. The atmosphere was just right — warm lights, soft music, and mouth-watering aromas filling the air. We were looking forward to a peaceful evening, nothing extravagant, just good food and great company.
We ordered a salad that looked as delicious as the rest of the menu. Everything seemed perfect — until my friend suddenly froze, her fork suspended in mid-air.
“Do you see that?” she asked, pointing at her plate.
On top of the salad were tiny black specks. At first, we assumed they were chia seeds or maybe some kind of trendy spice. But then, to our horror, the specks began to move.
They were not seeds. They were bugs.

I immediately called the waiter over, completely shocked. He looked startled and mumbled something about checking with the kitchen. But we didn’t wait. We rushed straight to the hospital, worried about what we might have eaten.

Thankfully, we were fine. But the experience was terrifying enough to stay with us. I’m sharing this as a warning — always check your food carefully, no matter how clean or classy a place may seem. What was supposed to be a simple night out turned into something we’ll never forget.
