Jordan the cat was the ultimate free spirit! This adorable tabby kitten was a regular nighttime escapee, living with his owner, B.J. Ross, under the cover of darkness. He had a fascinating reason for this. Jordan returned from each night's expedition with a new pair of shoes in his mouth, and he couldn't wait to show them off to the others! Over time, he collected over fifty pairs. He just kept on stealing! His impressive collection included sandals, flip-flops, and sneakers. The caring owner had a great idea: to create a special Facebook group called "Jordan The Feline Cat Burglar" to return stolen items to their rightful owners. In an incredible feat of journalism, she took photos of all the confiscated shoes and posted them online for the world to see! And she did it! She got in touch with the shoe owners. It was an incredible revelation to discover that the unassuming cat was the mastermind behind it all! How could the owner possibly know which houses her cat was stealing from? She put a GPS collar on him, which is an excellent idea for cats! Luckily, this amazing device allowed her to discover that Jordan had been breaking into several houses in the area. He often returned to the same places he liked, and each time he did so, he was thrilled! He would walk almost eight miles every night (12 kilometers). Amazingly, despite the revelations about his crimes, Jordan has not entirely abandoned his criminal career. And the best part? He still brings home the loot!
