Sharon Osbourne has noticeably changed in appearance after significant weight loss – she now weighs less than 100 pounds, and many fans barely recognize her.
During a recent appearance in Los Angeles, the 72-year-old TV presenter looked extremely frail. Although she wore loose clothing, her slender figure was still striking. Only her signature bright red hairstyle made her recognizable.
Sharon had previously openly revealed that she had used a weight-loss drug, which initially produced the desired results. However, she later admitted that she may have gone too far. Despite stopping the drug some time ago, she has not been able to regain the weight.
In an interview, she shared that she currently weighs just over 7 stone (about 44 kg) and would like to gain 4-5 kg, but has been unable to do so despite diet changes. She says the situation leaves her deeply disappointed.
Osbourne also noted that she no longer plans to undergo any other interventions to her appearance. Over the years of public life, she has repeatedly undergone various procedures—from gastric bands to facelifts, body lifts, implants, and injections. Now, however, she has decided to stop.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be completely happy with my appearance, but at least now I’ve accepted myself,” she admitted, adding that this journey took her many years.
In 2024, she returned to television, appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, where viewers again noticed her dramatic weight loss. She then revealed that doctors couldn’t explain why she wasn’t gaining weight after stopping the medication.
According to Sharon, the decision to begin the course was prompted by the method’s popularity: “Everyone was doing it.” She also emphasized that she previously found it extremely difficult to lose weight using traditional methods—at one point, her weight reached around 104 kg.
Today, Osborne says she doesn’t regret her experience, but she admits that the desire for quick results backfired. Now, she prefers not to interfere with her body’s natural processes and move on with her life, accepting herself as she is.
