Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the most discussed royals on TikTok lately. Still, it’s not all news, as the discussions tend to be harmful, and users increasingly favor Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle faced a nasty situation on TikTok – and were defeated by Princess Kate Middleton.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry love TikTok – but not as much as they’d like.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whose HRH titles were removed from the royal family’s website this week, have become a force to be reckoned with on social media.

For a long time, Meghan and Harry have been hailed as the new generation of royals and praised for targeting a younger audience.

At first glance, this is the case on TikTok, as the couple has been the most talked about on social media.

However, it’s not all good news, as the conversations “tend to be negative,” and the general opinion of social media users is that the other family member is liked more.

Eileen Kwok, a social marketing specialist at Hootsuite, told Newsweek that Meghan and Harry are the most talked about couple on TikTok. Still, the conversations about them are not very positive, and most people are very critical of their relationship.

While the hashtag #HarryAndMeghan has racked up five million views, the hashtag #WilliamAndKate has only 715,000 views.”

TikTok users also compare the couples to each other but look even more closely at Meghan and Kate – and take “sides.”

Comments on royal family videos include both defenders of the royals and critics of their every move – from behavior and fashion to appearance and interaction with the public.

A study conducted by the platform Hootsuite found that Harry had the most posts (one hundred and forty thousand.) and the most views (thirteen billion), followed by Meghan (one hundred and fifteen thousand and eleven billion).

While Kate had sixty-five thousand and ten billion views, her husband, Prince William, had seventy-nine thousand and eleven billion views.

Even so, the main difference was that Kate was primarily associated with positive posts and comments, while Meghan had many more negative results.

TikTok users like to compare the two, but the consensus is that app users favor Kate.

This comes after Harry and Meghan were subjected to a “brutal reality check” when their titles of His Royal Highness were removed from the network.

According to the famous Express.co.uk, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles have been removed from the royal family’s website, with Harry now referred to simply as ‘Duke.’

Although Buckingham Palace said the changes were purely business, royal affairs expert Richard Kay called the move “cruel.”

In an interview with the Mail newspaper, Kay said: “It is no coincidence that the prince’s arrival in the Far East has coincided with a brutal reality check by Buckingham Palace over his status – and that of his wife Meghan – in the new look royal family.
