While Max Verstappen ended his 2023 F1 season spectacularly at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, onlookers at the VIP party witnessed a violent altercation where fans hit each other with champagne bottles. The brawl was recorded on camera.

At the Yas Marina track, Verstappen from Red Bull won his 19th race of the season at the 2023 finale, completing his third successive championship victory in impressive style. With 19 wins this term from 22 races, the Dutchman hardly broke a sweat, finishing nearly 18 seconds ahead of the runner-up Charles Leclerc.

Away from the luxury and grandeur of the Middle Eastern F1 season event, there were disturbing incidents at a VIP party in Abu Dhabi where racing enthusiasts assaulted one another using champagne bottles. Social media posts of video footage show how the chaos broke out, and security personnel attempted to keep the peace.

At first, a few women tried to mediate and prevent a man from causing a disturbance at the fancy party under the shade of Red Bull umbrellas.

However, nearly 30 seconds later, tensions rise as individuals within the VIP area confront each other. A brawl then breaks out, with punches being thrown.

In the video posted to X (formerly Twitter), one individual can be seen wielding a bottle as a club, while another can launch one at another spectator.
