Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, now known as The Prince and Princess of Wales, may enjoy the benefits of wealth.

However, it is essential to note that the Royal Family owns many properties, cars, and jewels as an institution, not by The Prince and Princess of Wales themselves.

The Duchy of Cornwall Estate is an example of this.

Following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022, Prince William inherited The Duchy of Cornwall, a vast estate worth $1 billion.

The estate spans 53,000 hectares across 23 counties, according to House Beautiful.

Although this inheritance significantly increases Prince William’s wealth, most of the income must be reinvested into the estate.

Anmer Hall is also part of the estate.

The Georgian mansion in Norfolk has 30 rooms, including ten bedrooms and surrounding gardens. After the family added two children, it became their primary residence from 2015 to 2017. According to Architectural Digest, they later moved to Kensington Palace and then to Adelaide Cottage at Windsor.

Kate Middleton’s engagement ring.

Kate Middleton’s wedding ring is one of the couple’s most expensive items. The ring, formerly belonging to Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana, is estimated to be worth about $500,000.

It is composed of a large blue sapphire surrounded by 14 sparkling diamonds set in 18-karat white gold.

The Olympic Cartier set.

Kate Middleton wore a $60,000 Cartier necklace made of three types of 18-karat gold and diamonds to an event at The National Portrait Gallery in 2012.

The Royal Family has favored the French luxury jewelry brand Cartier for some time.

Prince William reportedly gave Kate a Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch as a gift for their third wedding anniversary, according to OK! Although the watch retails for around $6,500, the Princess’s watch, now owned by royalty, is estimated to be worth well over $20,000.

The couple’s most expensive cars are a leased $400,000 bulletproof Bentley and environmentally friendly vehicles for everyday use. The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the Earthshot Prize Awards in a fully-electric Audi that can cost upward of $150,000, per The Daily Mail. Recently installed electric car chargers were available at their residence. The couple arrived at a St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 2022 in a brand-new hybrid Range Rover estimated to be worth over $100,000. According to Express, they sold their previous Range Rover for around $50,000.
