Jenny Coin was known for her quiet personality and hard work in her studies. She didn’t like to socialize and always focused on her schoolwork. Despite this, she was a lovely person. Brighton High School was where Jenny could do what she wanted and be who she wanted to be, away from her family. But everything changed when Miss Lombaard arrived.

From the outset, Miss Lombaard made Jenny’s school life unbearable.

The day of prom unfolded like a slow dance of anticipation for Jenny.

With her outfit complete and her excitement reaching new heights, Jenny went outside to where the sleek limousine awaited her. The sight of the luxurious vehicle sent a thrill of excitement coursing through her veins, its polished exterior gleaming in the afternoon sun.

Tonight was her chance to shine, to leave behind the troubles of the past, and to embrace the magic of prom night. With a smile and a twinkle in her eye, she settled into her seat, ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

With her spirits soaring and her heart full of anticipation, Jenny bid her mom farewell and set off for prom. As she stepped out into the night, a wave of excitement washed over her, filling her with an almost palpable sense of exhilaration. With her favorite song playing softly in the background, Jenny went to Max’s house to pick him up.

As her best friend emerged from the front door, a grin spread across his face, mirroring Jenny’s excitement. Together, they embarked on the journey to prom, the music blaring from the speakers as they sang along at the top of their lungs.

The music was loud and exciting, and the atmosphere at the prom was electric. Jenny and Max were having a great time, laughing and dancing as if they didn’t care about anything.

In the middle of all the bright colors and flashing lights, Jenny made her way through the crowd of dancing students. She felt excited as she got closer to the refreshments table.

Jenny’s heart beat faster as she saw Miss Lombaard standing by the refreshments table, looking at the students. Jenny felt nervous, but she said hello anyway. “Good evening, Miss Lombard,” she said politely. Miss Lombard said something that made Jenny speechless. The teacher looked at her disdainfully and said, “Jenny, that dress might have looked okay on the mannequin, but it doesn’t suit you.”Miss Lombard noted this in a way that was mean and cruel. Jenny felt her heart sink as she felt embarrassed, and her cheeks flushed with shame.

“I’m sure it’s not made for chubby, spoiled kids like you,” Miss Lombaard spat, her tone full of disdain. As the tension grew, the students’ whispers grew louder, their curious gazes fixed on the scene. Max, seeing Jenny leave quickly, followed her, worried.

When Jenny got home, she ran into the house, crying and upset. She didn’t want her family to try and make her feel better. She went into her room to be alone. Her mother went into her room after her. She sat on the bed next to Jenny. She looked worried. “What happened, sweetheart?” she asked softly, her voice warm and concerned. Unable to hide her sadness, Jenny started crying again as she told her mother about the day’s events. Her mother’s eyes opened wide in shock as she listened to her daughter’s story. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” she asked, her voice showing worry and disbelief. Jenny’s mother went from being shocked to feeling angry. She was protective of her daughter.

“We’ll deal with this together and make sure it never happens again.”
