This happened after she refused to pay her fare, which the mayor stated was the estimated annual cost of the city’s public transportation system. According to the Metro User Guide, anyone who fails to pay for their fare, validation, ticket, or any other method of accessing the service must pay a Type 2 fine. This provision aligns with the National Police and Coexistence Code regulations outlined in the Law. Anyone who has been reprimanded more than once may have their card revoked and may be subject to certain benefits being suspended for up to six months. The number of people skipping the metro queue has been reduced by almost half. Here are some exceptions and recommendations for paying for metro travel. Only buy a card or payment method at places where they are sold. All users must enter the stations or buses of the System with their cards. If the authorities verify that payment has not been made, the user will be removed from the System. The police can get the entire System for free.
