A shocking incident occurred in the Polish village of Wola Filippowska: the driver of a van miraculously survived after his vehicle was destroyed by a high-speed train.

CCTV footage recorded how, in the morning, a white van, ignoring the red traffic light, drove onto a railroad crossing. After that, the barriers began to lower, and the car was blocked on the tracks. Although one of the barriers closed more slowly and the driver had a chance to leave the danger zone, he stopped, then reversed and found himself on the tracks again.

Seeing the approaching train, the man tried to find a way out of the situation: he steered the car to the side of the road, trying to hug the edge as much as possible. However, at that moment, a train full of passengers crashed into the van at high speed, tearing it apart. Miraculously, no one was hurt – neither the driver nor the passengers of the train. The prosecutor’s office is currently investigating to establish the exact causes of the incident. Footage of the incident, which went viral on social media, has sparked heated discussions. Many commentators accused the driver of carelessness and noted that the accident could have been avoided if he had driven through the barrier before it closed. The tragedy in Poland occurred shortly after another similar incident: on July 13, in Teynham, England, an Amazon driver died when his car collided with a train. Police, firefighters, and an ambulance arrived at the scene, but the man could not be saved. Amazon expressed its deep condolences to the family of the deceased and promised to cooperate with the investigation. The other participants in the accident were not injured.
