Their secret relationship became the talk of the media.

After giving birth to their daughter, Tiffany Trump, Marla finally convinced Donald to marry her.

What was once a bright future for Marla had become sad and tragic.

Donald Trump made Marla Maples sign a nasty prenuptial agreement.

A hidden truth of Marla Maples was that she always saw herself as more than just Donald Trump’s mistress, but it tragically took years to convince Trump to marry her.

However, the timing was right because his ex-wife Ivana Trump’s divorce made Donald feel he didn’t want to marry again. Donald’s parents were conservative and wanted him to have a child with Marla. In the end, Donald agrees to marry Marla, but only after getting a prenuptial agreement does he gain much power. In the agreement, Donald was able to negotiate the amount of money Marla would receive if they separated. He lowered the amount from $25 million to just $1 million and ensured that Marla would not receive any alimony.

Marla Maples refused to sign the papers for a while, but Donald held up their wedding to get her to sign them.

Marla Maples’ divorce from Trump made her a single mum.

Once Donald Trump and Marla Maples divorced, Marla cared for their daughter, Tiffany Trump.

Marla Maples’ old publicist started stalking her. The media went wild when Marla Maples was dating Donald Trump in the 1990s. She hired publicist Chuck Jones to protect her from the press and paparazzi. However, their relationship quickly crumbled when it was revealed that Jones had a bad habit of stealing and hiding Maples’ shoes in his office.

Trump stopped Marla Maples from writing her memoirs not once but twice. After moving to California with her daughter, Tiffany Trump, Marla Maples waited for her divorce from Donald Trump to be finalized before testing the limits of a non-disclosure agreement. According to the New York Times, as early as 2000, Maples was trying to sell a memoir officially announced by HarperCollins titled “All That Glitters Is Not Gold.” In 2002, HarperCollins said that the author and publisher had agreed not to publish the book. But that was just the first time. in 2016, as Donald was starting his first successful presidential campaign, there were again rumors that Maples wanted to publish a book about her life. However, Donald and his lawyers demanded that it be overly sanitized or pulled entirely. Marla Maples has fallen for some conspiracy theories. The world shut down during the pandemic; the internet became a hive for wild theories and sourdough recipes. Unfortunately for Marla Maples, she sought out the former. She shared an Instagram story by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who often makes controversial statements, that said the vaccines had microchips in them (as reported by the Daily Beast).

As a wellness influencer, Maples also promoted many alternative ways to stay healthy during the pandemic. However, most of these posts were about the unfounded theory that Bill Gates wanted to implant tracking devices in people.

Luckily, Maples has moved back to more palatable and understandable topics, such as talks about “Faith Over Fear” and how doing aerial acrobatics has kept her looking youthful. These theories are much more pleasant to get behind.
