An Unflattering Technical Error.
After spending so long in hair and makeup, she wasn’t happy about having a graphic covering her face on screen! These technical mistakes are common, but it’s rare to see one positioned so coincidentally! Hopefully, things were straightened out after they cut to a commercial break.

Try again, Fox!
No, this isn’t an assault perpetrator who has a celebrity look-alike in Barack Obama. In 2015, a Fox station in a local area showed a picture of Obama instead of a suspect in a sexual assault case. The Fox network is known for its conservative views, so it’s hard not to wonder if this was intentional!

Move over, Mary Ann.
In this clip from an NBC Chicago show, reporter Mary Ann Ahern is wholly ignored during a report on a local primary school. The little girl in the background is so talented – she should see a career coach to help her express herself!

This isn’t The West Wing, after all!
To have the authority, experience, and money of a White House employee, you must be responsible and self-aware. Unfortunately, this guy had a momentary lapse of judgment when he stumbled into the background of a press conference. Hopefully, Obama and Biden weren’t too hard on him.

Overly Excited.
This Australian Apple fan was so excited to show a Today reporter his brand-new iPhone 6 that he dropped it straight onto the sidewalk — he hadn’t even had a chance to put a protective case on this expensive piece of technology! If you’re considering buying an iPhone, it’s worth investing in a case to protect it.

Stealing the Moment.
This guy decided to show off some of his best moves when he found himself in front of a news camera. He did such a good job that he distracted everyone from the story about the stolen ATM, and now he might even get a job as a media manager!

Too Much Nature, Part II.
No, the newsreader isn’t wearing an extravagant hat from the British royal wedding – she’s been surprised by a scarlet ibis, the subject of an upcoming San Diego Zoo segment, who’s landed on her head. The newscaster, Nichelle Medina, later joked about the incident, calling it “a scalp massage.”

Out Of The Blue.
Wendy Burch, a reporter from Los Angeles, was talking about how her city wanted to host the Summer Olympics when she was surprised by someone who wanted to be in the show. Luckily, Wendy was able to laugh about it. She later joked about it on her Facebook page, saying, “I’ve gone viral, baby!”

Vikings Fans Go Hard.
Reporters covering local sports should be aware of rowdy fans, especially when interviewing people in bars. This reporter from Minneapolis was just about to start her segment on a big Vikings game when a man in a bar charged at her. In the video, she shouts, “I’m okay!” which makes us think she thought it was just an accident and didn’t go to a personal injury attorney.

Bugging Out.
While some reporters have to overcome their fears by visiting war-torn regions or covering natural disasters, this guy struggles to keep his cool while on assignment at the beach. While broadcasting live, Brad Wills of a San Diego Fox affiliate was very scared by a large bug. Some exposure therapy could help!
