A bizarre incident occurred at the Estadio Couto Pereira during a match between Coritiba and Chapecoense. The match was a tightly contested affair, as both teams were desperate to secure points to maintain their place in the league.
One of the game’s stars was defender Jasi Maranhão. He sent the ball into the net, scoring his team’s second goal. The stands erupted in joy, and the player himself headed toward the fans to celebrate with them.
