After “2 Broke Girls” became a hit, Kat Dennings landed several acting gigs, most notably as the star of “Dollface” on Hulu.

In 2011, Dennings joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Darcy Lewis, Jane Foster’s assistant played by Natalie Portman, in the movie “Thor.” She reprised the same role in “Thor: The Dark World” in 2013. Dennings then disappeared from the franchise for a few years.

In May 2021, Dennings surprised her followers with an Instagram post announcing her engagement to musician Andrew W.K. She wrote, “Don’t mind if I do” next to a photo of her stunning diamond ring. The couple had also revealed their relationship that same month, surprising many with their seemingly rapid engagement. In June 2021, rumors began to circulate that the couple got married after they were seen wearing wedding bands, but this has not been confirmed.

Dennings talked about her choice to become a producer in an interview with Marie Claire in 2019.

As of now, Dennings has produced “Dollface,” the 2018 TV program “How May We Hate You?,” and the 2018 TV show “Dallas & Robo.”
